I needed gravel at the top of an insanely steep hill that included two right angle turns while still going up at a rate that public roads don't even attempt. It is still a little unclear if I hired David to deliver and spread gravel or just dared him to try. WOW, what a team. I called this morning to ask about 57 rock in my driveway expecting to spread it myself. Not only could they deliver it TODAY by 11AM but the brought a spreader truck that did all the spreading for me! Dave Gross ( owner) told me the spreader truck lays the rock like carpet and he was totally correct. Paul ( who delivered the rock) was as nice as he could be to make sure all the rock was spread equally and our driveway looks FANTASTIC!! I called the gravel guy and he called me back within 5 minutes. I then had somebody out to my home within 35 minutes. I got my gravel job done quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. I appreciated their quick response and their kindness in getting the gravel work done. I had called four different companies prior to them and either got no response or the price was too high. I got the gravel I needed at a good price. I plan on using them again for my needs.

My experience with this company was wonderful!! Dave came over on short notice and gave me a very reasonable quote. He also gave excellent guidance on what type of gravel would be best for my driveway, suggesting a size that is much easier to walk on and still provide more than enough traction for our vehicles and it turned out to be great advice since my wife and I are on the elderly side. Two days later he showed up with his spreader truck at the promised time and went right to work. I have a long, somewhat narrow driveway with 2 sharp 90 degree turns which makes it very difficult to maneuver a large vehicle but he expertly guided his spreader truck around and spread the gravel over every inch of my drive way so I wouldn’t have to do any manual spreading at all! I cant recommend Dave and his company; The Gravel Guy enough!

Had seen the Gravel Guy signs around town, ended up with an expedited need to re-gravel my driveway after the county water authority spread the excess dirt up the entire driveway after installing the water meter on my new home site. The dirt / mud was washing down into the street with the recent heavy rains. I currently live 2 hours away from the site. Dave answered the call on the 2nd ring. I explained the situation & potential problem with the HOA if the condition continued for any extended period of time. The guidelines are clear that it's the homeowner's responsibility to clear /clean any construction dirt / mud from the street. Dave drove to the site in less than an hour, texted the cost (which was very reasonable) I approved and within 3 hours I received pics of the completed job. Fantastic! The results were awesome! We want to say how very pleased we are with the quality of the job that The Gravel Guy just completed for us. Our road was In need of tree trimming, re-rocking and wash out repair and new gravel for our parking area and pathway. All work was completed in a prompt, professional manner by Dave and Paul. The entire experience was a very positive one. When I called to find out about getting the work done, Dave immediately answered the phone and set up a time to meet me onsite the next day. When I showed him my concerns, especially about the erosion, he clearly explained what needed to be done to alleviate that problem, along with the time frames and the cost for all the work we wanted done. I explained that we had a fairly tight schedule for this and he worked to accommodate us, weather permitting and luckily the weather cooperated. He was great about staying in touch and answering any questions we had along the way. Very easy to contact and communicate with, which is a big plus. . We needed a gravel pad poured for an RV, and a driveway ready for heavy trucks for an upcoming build. Dave shocked me by meeting me at the property the same day to give us an estimate. No one gives you same day service right now. He explained very thoroughly what kind of gravel he would use for each point of our project, and why. He told us about the equipment he would be using, and what results we would be getting. He made sure that we were 110% involved in the process. We had our estimate that evening, and he said he would try to at least get started that week before the upcoming rain hit. He was able to do the entire job before the rain, but wasn't satisfied with how some of the gravel ended up placed. He let us know that he would be back to spread it out to meet his standards. This all happened in the course of less than one week. Everything looks amazing, and if we ever need anymore gravel work, Dave is our guy. Top notch customer service.

My existing gravel driveway was very rutted, uneven, and washed out in several places. Dave has a scraper that is pulled behind a tractor that reclaims the existing gravel. My long driveway looks like new, smooth with no more potholes. I highly recommend this service.

We needed gravel rather quickly as our driveway at our new home was getting rutted and muddy very quickly, and the Gravel guy went out and gave us a quote and got us going right away, they were even able to get us additional loads when we needed it. Dave knows his business. I had constant issues with erosion after the many hard rains we have had, due to a poorly engineered road. Dave came in and reengineered the road, creating ditches to direct runoff to a culvert that he installed under the road to move the water away from the road, so no more erosion! Everyone knows gravel roads need maintenance, and I can call Dave to grade my road when it gets a little rough and recommend and provide the needed gravel. I believe his prices are fair. The Gravel Guy is a guy you can trust!
Moved here a little over a year ago. Started with raw land. The gravel guy is very knowledgeable about gravel and site work he has help me make good decisions about which gravel to use and the best way to apply it. He has done some bobcat site work as well as supplying my gravel. I would recommend him for any type job like this you have. I will use him in the future for some other projects. Reliability is A1 if he says he'll be there count on it. Equipment is A1. This guy can be counted on. Just had more bobcat work done getting ready for some landscaping. Put in pad for new shed. The landscaper was impressed with how little handwork he has to do. He says that most of the time the work is rough with track marks everywhere. Another great job.

I hired Dave Gross, "The Gravel Guy" to grade and build up a driveway for me through a piece of property of mine in Warne. From the very beginning, I felt like I didn't need to have anyone else come out to give me an estimate. Dave and Paul really seemed to care about doing an excellent job. The end results are that I now have an excellent reliable driveway with new drainage, and the cost came in slightly lower than his original estimate. We had The Gravel Guy add stone to our driveway and fire pit area. Dave was super easy to communicate with. Paul brought the first load of rock and did a great job pouring it with very minimal overspray in our existing driveway that was in need of new stone. He recommended we go with a much smaller pebble around our fire pit to make walking around more comfortable. He was able to come back the same day and did a fantastic job reaching stone into all the corners. His recommendation for the smaller pebble was great and walking around the fire pit is so much nicer. We will definitely use The Gravel Guy for any future gravel needs we have.
Does great work. Had a gravel driveway in Warne that had several washed out areas that needed fixing and some new gravel put out. They came out the next day and leveled out the drive and then put down some new gravel.
My Gravel Guy, David, did an amazing job at a fair price. He went far above what was expected. He managed to get the truck and gravel up a tough mountain road. To get all the equipment safely up the road without damaging the road, he had to climb the mountain- twice. The look and the spread of the gravel on our new lot is so much more than I envisioned. He kept me posted on every step of the way. Would totally recommend and would use his services again.
